KIESS pressure blasting pots type Taifun reach minimum losses of pressur by high
pipe cross-sections and ball valves having full passage. Each pressure blasting
pot is suitable for all kinds of abrasive usual at normal trade, for all dry,
moist and wet blasting procedures.

According to fixed standards, all blasting pots are equipped with mixing valve,
self-closing quick acting closure taper, handhole, piping and large wheels
for easy transport. The pots are checked according to the respective type. |
The operation will be done by a deadman-handle, wich have to be
pushed all the time.

Double Chamber Pressure Blasting Pot
Double chamber pressure blasting pots are operating without the usually necessary
interruption for charging with abrasive. They are therefore especially suitable
for high-power blasting procedures. Two chambers having the same size are one
on top of each other. The compressed airflow is charged with abrasive from the
lower pressure chamber via two metering valves. Charging factor and the amount
of abrasive are progressively adjustable from 0 - 100 %. |
Emergency shut-down device
With the help of the emergency shut-down device switched-off times of less than
1 second are reached according to the provisions of BGV D 26. The control of
the emergency-shut down device is realised by the operator with the help of a
dead man’s button.
When interrupting the blasting process, i.e. dead man's button has not
manipulated or pressed the compressed air or the mixtrue of compressed air - abrasive
being in the blasting hose is led into the relieving pot with the help of the
emergency shut-down device.
